  • I’m stoked. At last a feature length film from the man who’s vlog I’ve watched more than any other.

Love the title, love the site, love the subject matter. Quintessential midwestern americana, I want the DVD yesterday. Love above all things the “apathy” and the sarcasm and wit that accompanies it. It’s a Human Dog trademark.

Sorry, I couldn’t wait untill tomorrow to comment.

Oh, also love the marketing and business model, brilliant!

Good luck, all success! God speed!

  • Great stuff, Chris. I’ve got your back. Can’t wait until this is full swing! I also subscribed to the email list on havemoneywillvlog.com.

  • Garrett is most certainly my favorite of all the Human-Dog Video Bloggers. It is the way he tells his stories, the way he doesn’t care about anything important, and the way he has total disregard for the safety of others.

Garrett is a True American, He is, the American King

  • Good luck to you! You’re doing the right thing by raising money first… I wish I had done the same before starting my videoblog, I don’t have time to sleep anymore!

  • I’ve always thought GL was one seriously fascinating guy–one that makes you scratch your head one minute, then say to yourself (albeit with some fear and trepidation) “Oh, Holy Crap–he’s right.” the next. Watching him has always made me think “how can something so wrong be so right…and so wrong…and so right…and so funny…and so scary?”

With the keen eye and talented editing hands of Chris Weagel, a new American King will surely be crowned. And we can all marvel some more at our strange, apathetic, charming, funny, intractable U.S. royalty.

  • I am SO SO looking forward to this. The question is not “will this be my favorite movie ever”, but “how much better will it be than any other movie I’ve ever seen” … or, well, something like that, you know what i mean

  • At long last, American King debuts. Senior Thesis three years in the making. Finally, a reason to be glad it’s tuesday.

  • “Let ’em judge.”

    indeed.

    we judge ourselves!

you already know I am a fan anticipating great stuff from this. Much more blather from me to come I’m sure…

  • In terms of videoblogging, I’ve never looked forward to something this much. After your series on your friend the schoolteacher, I’ve been waiting for something that will kick my ass just as much.

Can’t wait to see what he’s all about.
