Yono.
Today, our final visit with Jon Yono. The bulk of this series was taped in the Summer of 2004, but this last segment takes place at the end of February 2005.
I was able to present a strong image of one strand of Yono’s life, but looking at the footage two years on, I can see my mistakes. With what I’ve learned about interviewing and about more of Yono’s politics and outlook, I would’ve done things differently.
Of course that’s how I feel about all these videos, so…
Its the end of an era.

Its amazing how much attachemnt you can build for a simple liquor store. Its the first hting I look for when I move. The owners/clerks know everything about the ‘hood. They’re friendly. They can tell if your a noob to the area. They take care of you.

I think I might cry if my favorite corner store closed. This one tugged the heart strings.
Im bummed the series is over. Ive never been to the liquor store.. but this place had become one of my favorite vlog settings.
