To all of my conservative working class friends, wake up. Conservative ideas are about one thing: Making you a slave so that they can be kings. Period. Nothing more.
It’s not about patriotism or smaller government or abortion or christianity or guns or anything else. It’s about Power Over You. They will crush you into the earth if it will gain them more power. Wake up from your brainwashing and join your fellow workers in fighting for your rights to be free, to be fairly compensated for your work and for control over your own destiny. Enough goddamn bullshit.

The sounds of man repeatedly falling down can be heard across the land this morning. The giant furnaces with faces are gathering at the edge of town. They demand fresh fuel and more respect. The birds of our county are wearing striped purple socks in honor of their fallen king. I’d love a glass of Ovaltine hot followed by a four hour walk to get the spider knots out of my back, but I have no milk. Millions of my neighbors, most invisible to all but me and my dog, are arming themselves with the knowledge of ages in order to catch the gray river trout that fill our lakes. Catch one for me, boys! It is a day like any other and still as unique as a babe’s face. Spend some time today with one of those books that depict various textures and surfaces through pasted on bits of fabric...

Sacrifices never apply to the powerful. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder will still be comfortable after reducing his salary to one dollar/year. Retired workers paying higher taxes on their pensions, as Snyder has proposed, won’t be so comfortable.
Snyder didn’t offer to pay more taxes because his caste never sacrifices anything.
