IDLE HANDS ARE THE DEVIL’S WORKSHOP

AND TODAY, the Devil’s doing Macremé.

Why? Well he’s always wanted to know just what it’s all about. You always hear about it, but I don’t know, Wheel’s usually on or something. Just never had the time. It sounded great. I’m just so tired after work.

(wait. Who’s talking here? Me or the Devil? Who’s moving these hands? Did you feel that? That cold breeze? Is that you Uncle Walt?)

Well the Devil learned that Macramé (or macrame) is:

a form of textile-making using knotting rather than weaving or knitting.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AN ENTIRE HOBBY-CRAFT FOCUSED ON INCESSANT, COMPULSIVE KNOT-TYING!?

Well the Devil died that day and went himself to heaven. And so did I!

And ever since, we’ve been putting quarter after quarter into the miniature merry-go-round out front of the K*MART and just knitting ourselves into a fit!

MACRAMÉ OWLS FOR EVERYBODY!

Macramé is all well and good, but only through knitting can you achieve true happiness in the eyes of all things holy…
